SUMMARY:Love Our City: Back to School Event
DESCRIPTION:Register to Volunteer and/or Donate Here\nOn Saturday\, August 3rd\, we are partnering with other local churches and non-profits in the Irving Community Collective to host a “Fresh and New Back to School Drive” on our campus. Recipients will receive backpacks\, uniforms\, and access to other services and supplies. \nThis is an amazing opportunity to love our city\, and we are looking for both volunteers and donations. Volunteer roles can be registered for below\, and you can also give toward our goal of 100 new backpacks with supplies donated from MacArthur. The cost for us to purchase a backpack with supplies is $45\, but any amount donated helps! \nWe are asking that volunteers show up at 9:00 a.m. for training and preparation\, and lunch will be provided for all volunteers. If you have a t-shirt from our last Love Our City outreach day\, please plan to wear the shirt.
