When the Church Sees Her King
June 29, 2014
We begin a new series walking through the first three chapters of Revelation, which contains the seven letters to the seven churches. There are several elements that all seven letters share in common. For example, each letter begins with a portion of the description of Christ that is introduced in 1:9-20. The description of Christ always corresponds to the specific problem each church is facing in the letters. What is the implication of this? Why does the author begin each letter with a description of Christ before discussing the problems within the church?
